OBIT has set the standards for the fruit packaging market, by increasing packaging functionality as well as the prestige of the premium fruit within, and, toward the goal of offering customers packaging solutions, has developed a perforated “breathing” film with many diverse applications. The micropores in this perforated film have gas permeability that allows oxygen in, while emitting carbon dioxide, moisture and heat, and also function to facilitate cutting of the film.
When this gas-permeable micro-perforated film is used as packaging during distribution of agricultural and livestock products, it maintains freshness while preventing rotting or spoilage of the packaged products. In addition, our micro-perforated film, due to its emission of heat and moisture, can be used to wrap items for microwave cooking, and because of its facilitation of cutting and tearing, can be applied to wrapping of take-out orders, to bundling of yogurt and cigarette packages, as well as to general labelling and taping. In short, our micro-perforated film is not simply a solution for one product, but rather a solution with broad and varied product applications. OBIT promises that we will create value for our customers through development of technological solutions that meet their needs.
